Homer runs for election as sanitation commissioner, promising huge upgrades to the garbage collection system. Sadly, he runs out of money after a month and is forced to sell Springfield's garbage space for other cities to dump their rubbish. It all turns pear-shaped and Homer is ousted. Includes a good cameo from U2.
